Tyrone Mings Academy was born…
from a desire to provide first-class football coaching and better opportunities for children in the Bristol area
We are delivering weekly sessions in several locations throughout Bristol for boys and girls from the age of 5yrs + with a thriving Teams program led by UEFA qualified coaches.
We want to create some unique opportunities for children to not only develop but the chance to progress.
Heading up the Tyrone Mings Academy is Martin Paul.
Martin played professionally with Bristol Rovers and Doncaster Rovers and a successful Non-League career with Bath City, Newport County & Chippenham Town. Martin has gone on to attain the UEFA A Licence, FA Youth Award as well as FA Psychology, Talent ID and Position Specific qualifications.

Martin Paul / Head Coach
The aim of TMA is to provide, high-quality training sessions for any child aged from 5yrs + from grassroots to academies.
Tyrone Mings Academy hosts a competitive games program within several age groups for both boys and girls.
We will not be asking children or parents to be giving up existing grassroots or other academy commitments, our idea of holding the training across 3 locations on different evenings is to allow as many as possible to attend without missing existing training sessions.
Why come to the Tyrone Mings Academy?
- We have some of the best coaches in the area delivering the sessions.
- We have designed a coaching syllabus that will ensure children are developing in the most important areas of the game in a fun and unpressurised environment.
- Most importantly, Tyrone has the knowledge and experience of playing in the Premier League but also playing grassroots level and understands the importance of keeping football fun.
